Simplest recipe for Oyakodon or Chicken Egg Rice Bowl, give this a go!
6 Ingredients are: Chicken, 400ml of water, Soy sauce to taste, mirin or cooking wine to taste, 3 eggs, 1 onion
The way Oya is written is Kanji can mean Parents while Ko can mean Chidden so this is called parent-child rice bowl. Parent being chicken and child being egg, but which comes first the chicken or egg? LOL
Those asking where I got the wooden Bento box from, links below.
I bought this Alaskan King Crab the other day and look how huge they are! Cooking wise we just drop a bunch of butter and used this packed Balck Pepper Crab Spices we bought from Asian grocery store nearby ( This one called Seah's Spices and can be found in lots of Asian grocers), added a table spoon of minced garlic as well.
The result is truly heaven on earth! Seriously I cannot go back to eat normal crabs now, how !?
We got these from @Alaskancrabco and they stock many other good stuff like lobster, toothfish etc.
This viral hack by @doobydobap is a must try 1000% the combination of the texture is just perfection.
You simply just need a instant cup noodle, steamed rice, egg, sesame oil, roasted sesame seeds, and any other toppings you fancy.
Make sure you only use half of the seasonings from the instant noodle pack for the crispy noodles and the rest half for the fried rice.
I also used spam and peas just because that's what I have in my fridge. But yeah the crunch of the crispy noodles and the rice married really well! So Amazingly perfect!
You can use any pancake mix but I happened to have this Japanese fluffy pancake mix ( you can find it from many Asian grocery stores such as Thaikee IGA, Maruyu ) that only requires 1 egg and 40 ml milk.
Putting it in a pipping bag helps with building the fluffy pancake structure, then I have spare Boba pearls (from BBT Club), cook them with brown sugar as the topping for my fluffy pancakes.
VOILA! Here is our Brown Sugar Boba pancakes !
Let's make mince prawns on a stick, start with mincing prawn and adding these ingredients:
Then add 1tbs of flour and stuff them into a pipping bag or just any bag and cut the tip. Then insert a stick and slowly push the mixture out.
Deep fry or shallow fry until golden brown and crunchy, then cook the sauce using the following ingredients -
Simply baste the reduced sticky sauce onto the prawn stick and enjoy!
This has got to be the simplest recipe for baking bread and it tastes like heaven, you gotta give it a go.
Ingredients are: 3 cups of flour, 1/4 tsp yeast, 1 tsp salt, 1.5 cup of water
I rested the dough overnight after mixing and another 30mins after forming while the oven is preheating. Baked at 220c at fan forced for 30mins. Enjoy!
